Ordering your custom built guitar.

Thanks

-----------------------

Each of my guitars start with a base model price of $4650.00

Currently I am taking orders for guitars to be built in 2012.

All guitar models include your choice of East Indian Rosewood, Sapele or Honduran Mahogany back and sides.

  • Sitka Spruce, Engelmann Spruce, or Western Red Cedar top woods
  • Adirondack Spruce soundboard bracing
  • Wood ring Rosette with b/w/b inner and outer purfling
  • Black/White/Black top purfling
  • Wood bindings
  • Bound Fretboard
  • Ebony Fretboard, bridge and headstock overlay
  • 5 ply laminated neck construction, Mahogany with fine rosewood accents
  • Gotoh 510 Tuners (Chrome)
  • A high luster catalyzed urethane finish
  • A premium Ameritage hard shell case. Smoke exterior, brown interior, bindings, handle and K logo embroidered on the front and brass hardware. Click HERE for a detailed image of my stock cases.

My base price guitars are very special in their own right. They get as much love and attention as any that I produce. Every guitar I build will receive the same care and craftsmanship.

However, if you would like to give your instrument a more personal touch – perhaps choose domestic or exotic back and side woods, custom tuners, a pick-up system, I am happy to accommodate these requests – after all this is a custom guitar.

Below is a list of upgrade options that you may add to the cost of the base model:

Before construction begins

A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a place on my build list and to lock in the base price of the instrument. A letter acknowledging the receipt of deposit and the current base price will be mailed to you. Certain unique circumstances may require an additional interim payment once building begins, such as special inlays, custom tuners, special wood not from my inventory, etc.

Warranty

Kragenbrink Guitars are covered under a limited warranty to the original owner to be free of defects in material and workmanship. I will repair defects in materials or workmanship as long as I am actively in business as a Luthier.

This warranty does not cover round trip shipping and insurance, damage due to extremes in either humidity or temperature, misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations made by anyone other than me and any typical wear and tear. Taking proper and prudent care of a guitar is the responsibility of its owner.

You will have a 48-hour approval period in which to test-drive your guitar. Should you decide not to keep your guitar you MUST contact me by phone at 517-788-7570 to arrange a return and refund. Provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition, a refund, minus your initial non-refundable deposit of $500.00 will be issued. Guitars with custom inlay or special design options are refunded upon resale only. The customer must FULLY insure all returns. Any damage resulting from the return shipment is the responsibility of the customer. I will not refund a guitar that's been damaged in return shipment. This is an issue the customer will need to take up with the carrier.

Shipping
Upon receipt and clearance of your final payment, your guitar will be shipped FedEx Next day. Prices do not include shipping, insurance, taxes or handling charges. Payment can be made by cash, check or money order.
